Tracking Your Advertisements

If you had placed advertisements on other websites or in Ezines and Newsletters, you should daily check the results of your ad placement. There are three major ways you can track the results of your ads:

Your website stats will tell you where visitors have come from, on your website. You can see the top websites that have referred visitors to you. This way, you can find out how many visitors have come to your website through your advertisement on a certain website.

2. Use an Ad Tracking system

You can use ad trackers to track the response of your ezine ads. An ad tracker will create separate ad campaign for you and report you on the results of each campaign.

3. Tracking Pay-per-click advertising

If you have purchased pay-per-click advertising from Google Adwords, Goto.com etc., you can log in to your account created at these websites for details of how many times your ad was displayed, how many times it was clicked upon etc.
